John started forecasting a Sunday-Monday snowstorm for the Keweenaw early last week. The national weather service didn't start "forecasting" snow until after it had started. We got 10"+ in Hancock, probably more to the north.

Thanks John!

Glad the UP was happy with that forecast.
Vilas/northern Vilas was in the 8+ band, and apparently it was a total miss in that region.
I'm going to believe Tues/Wedn. totals when I see them actually happen.

Got a good 6" of semi wet snow at my cabin in Conover i'm a few miles West of 45 and 9 miles North of Eagle River not sure where you are in the area.... I would say trails were pretty good.. Not great but a few more "'s or this storm coming and they should be great..

Bummer it didn't work out for you. We got lucky this time. Either way, thumbs up to John for forecasting it when no one else was predicting anything for anyone.
