John - Web cam Question

On the Teton Pass, Wy web cam-

What is the area where all the cars/trucks are parked?
It looks like a Park and Ride, parking for CC Skiing?
Always full of cars even in a snow storm.

I've actually never been up there, but it has been explained to be by friends that drive over the past almost daily that it is just a parking area for persons that want to play up there.

Thing is , they are parked full even in bad snow conditions.
