Another Thread got me wondering about the reasons we visit JohnDee and as John himself said, "The board is just a part of this site and not even in the top 5 reasons why folks come to the site." So let's find out why we're all here. You can vote for multiple reasons and you'll be anonymous unless you'd like to comment.

Good point, I think you have to be a member to post/vote. But a member would still be visiting the site, correct?

A ‘nother technical point: Am I the only one seeing a run-on in the poll results between the vote counts and percentages (on an iPad, at least — I haven’t checked on my PC).

my pc says 48 voters but when adding up all the line results it comes to 123.

Thank you for the great laugh. That post was perfect.

Really I think you need to rank the poll. Some days I care more about John's forecast. It is so nice to see the possibilities of what might be coming. The local weather doesn't announce a storm until it's knocking on the door. Some days it's to read the discussion board. Sometimes it's actually not to argue, but to see who is currently arguing. Since none of the members of John Dee are any of my children I can sit here and get a kick out of the scaubling instead of wondering how to fix it.

If I'm planning to get away it's for the honest trail reports from everyone here, and the good advice. Yes clubs post on Facebook, but just because they groomed doesn't mean the trails are good. That can only come from a fellow rider. So it really depends on the day why I'm coming onto the site.

I’m kind of surprised that there isn’t a listing for John’s journal, I find that one of the best reads of this whole site. it’s very interesting to read about a family that in my opinion shows the most loving care that you could ever ask for in a family. from stories of Grace’s adventures to working on new projects, sometimes I read it with tears of joy and tears of sadness, I really look forward to reading it every week

Yeah, that one's on me. That should have been included and I just didn't think of it. I also read the Journal and enjoy it.

That is correct. Lots of bickering. People being judgmental, name calling, shorthanded swearing, etc....
