Journal Entries

John-

I was just reading through some of the archived journals from the late 90's and you used to have an entry everyday. Some were fo course longer than others, but it seemed like you always had something to say. My ? is; Has life gotten a bit stale in the U.P. or have you just gotten to busy to write everyday.

You don't have to answer this one if you prefer not to. I'm jsut a weekend night shift data center babysitter that has nothing better to do ATM. lol

Thanks,
Todd

Todd-

I guess it mainly has to do with my free time. Back when I started writing the journals I had a ton of free time. Nowdays I have to force myself to have time away from the site. It is a 24 hour a day monster! Plus when I get back from my play, the work that came in while I was out playing is waiting for me! Not complaining, just telling it like it is.

Also, when I started the journals I had just moved up here, so EVERYTHING was a new experience and something to write about. I try and keep the journal as entertaining as possible and never felt it was a vehicle to just talk about the day to day routines for me, like what I had for dinner... etc.

I can only imagine that the site is a monster at times. Also, your work doesn't ever stop. It would be cool if winter would stop in mid-stride with about 4 feet on the ground and no tracks.

Also, I still love reading your journals and looking at the pics.
