Well I hope it snows like crazy this weekend..... Just booked rooms and the root for monday thru thursday. Need to break in my pro r 800. Hope the warm temps stay away. Bring on the snow!!

Checked a few places last night & could not find a room open until Monday. So looks good for western UP biz this week. Eagle River revenue down 20-25% from last year but sparse snow so understandable.

Whitedust, do you know how the conditions are in St. Germain? The sled rental company said they got 3 inches of snow today, but according to Idle Hours website, the only got about an inch. We are on the fence about driving 6 1/2 hours to ride on bad trails, however the rental company said they are now fair conditions. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

They did not get 3 inches today...maybe an inch...maybe. Conditions are poor. There is snow on the trails but it is extremely thin.

Thanks NHRA1000. I am looking at web cams and I just see a skim coat of new snow as well. We went up last year at this time, and it warmed up real fast. I see that the temp may be 35 on Sat in St. Germain as well. I think we will wait for more snow before making the long drive up north.

yarls24:No one got 3 inches last night or today in WI. 2 inches is most between Rhinelander & UP border. Go north to UP around Twin Lakes & rent.
