How are the trails in this area after the storm today?? Looking for a possible day trip this weekend

Trails were rideable on Saturday, thin but rideable. Plowed fields with thin snow are what they are, bumpy and snirty. I'm hearing reports of 9-12 inches of new snow in the area. I know clubs are out packing them in to preserve base from the wind. The drifting helps more too with an established base.

I recommend you play Hookie from work this week, because if the current forecast holds, trails won't be open this weekend with rain and above freezing temps forecasted. Bi-polar Wisconsin.

Exactly what i rode this weekend.
I can attest there's 12 down most likely more. When it's all done prolly have about 15-16.
Hopefully it don't get too warm this weekend.

Best snow in 5 years. Groomers were laying solid white ribbons. Get it while you can. Washington County will be closing trails at bar close on Sunday 3AM February 3. Saturday will be into the 40s . Looks like Saturday morning will be below freezing until about noon. Last groom was Monday and Tuesday for the clubs that I know (St. Lawrence, Ackerville, Hart Lake, Nabob, Kohlsville). I ride NW part of the county into Dodge and Fond du Lac counties. Due to the cold, they didn't groom Wednesday or today. Most clubs will be at it Friday to clean up the drifting. Lots of drifting the last couple days.
