Klim arctic balaclava with enclosed helmet

Anyone used the Klim arctic balaclava with an enclosed helmet? Just wondering how it works. Did you take out the helmet's breathbox?

I tried it with mine. Didn't like it. Kind of Bulky and definitely couldn't use the breathbox because it would never fit. I sent it back and would prefer to use the liner that the helmet came with for the extra cold days.

I love mine in both my full face and motocross helmets, both by HJC , I don't use the breath box in either . I wear the full face anytime below 5 deg or so motocross the rest of the time . It can get a little hung up at times on the nose area of the helmet but nothing annoying . Prob only issue is if I am riding when it's really cold it gets crusty frozen on the nose pc and have to kinda hold it in a bit towards my face to get my helmet off .

I tried wearing mine for the first time today with a new Gmax 11 S helmet......designed like open face but has face shield......removable so you can use it either way.......anyway I was happy with the balaclava.......and it's really "tight" in this particular helmet.......breath box removed....
