Klim Valdez vs. Tomahawk jacket

What's the difference (besides the price obviously)? The Valdez is way out of my range, but I'm wondering what makes it so much more expensive.

Valdez is a Gortex PRO Shell. Tomahawk is just Gortex. Plus other things. I have a Valdez, very nice jacket.

KLIM jackets

I have the KLIM Tomahawk. Good jacket, but it can get a little cold sometimes on the coldest of days, 15F or below. You have to layer up with an extra layer, which is the way they are designed. The Valdeez has the new Comfort Mapping Technology which means it has insulation in areas of the jacket where the body seems to lose more heat while riding. I have the KLIM bibs with the Comfort Mapping Technology and they are nice. They too get cold on the coldest of day, but if I throw a good base layer on, I am good to go and still keep much of my mobility. You can't go wrong with the GoreTex. KLIM has some of the best out there. Either way you go, i think you will be happy. I would like to hear more about the KLIM Valdeez jacket. I have been thinking about the Valdeez or the Klimate for next year.

I have Klimate bib and jacket. I think they are first rate in quality, comfort and warmth. If it does get warm, there is venting that you can open.

I have the Klimate Bibs and Freeride Pants. My girl has the Klimate Jacket and Freerides as well. Anything Klimate has thinsulate, all other stuff is just a shell. The Klimates are too warm for me and perfer the Shell stuff. She gets cold and likes the Klimate
