Krupp's Camera

Maybe you've noticed that the snow has overcome the thermometer. The snow is 3/4 up on living room picture window. Kruppy's Camera is stationed in the top of picture window so it's taking a downward view of Kruppy. You can see it is building up on the sign. THIS IS CRAZY. The snowmobilers reporting in this morning are saying they had a great day yesterday and are heading out again. And NO- WE DID NOT DO ANOTHER HEIKKI LUNTA SNOW DANCE. Maybe I should have put this in the EVENT column-hmmmmm.

sorry :-( I ususally click off before the time it takes to load up....haven't seen it for some time now

I've noticed how slow it uploads - used to click and it was there. I seemed to notice when Scotti's camera was added each pic is smaller because of 2 pics and his is there immediately. Scottiking's camera is not updating & he will be back in Twin Lakes next week and we'll get together and figure it out. (maybe with John's help) When Kruppy was a larger pic it was there immediately. But why Scott's pic is there immediately and ours isn't, I don't know yet. Maybe Scottikings camera isn't updating because it gives him excuse to come back. Hmmmm

Sandy, when Scott upgraded your camera, it increased the quality and also the file size. The larger file size is why it takes so much longer to load. Scott's cam image pops up quickly right now because it is not updating and your browser just pulls up a saved copy of it from your computer, rather than downloading a fresh image.

I can set the image to be back to not very clear if its annoying people? I like the wait for the clear pic but its all up to the folks on here!
My favorite part is that it updates 24/7 and is lit up after dark tho!
I had a bit of trouble last week with the Kabcam software last week and thought I had it when I left but got home and saw it froze at 3:15am!
Drives me crazy but I'll try next week to get it right or I will pull it and throw the whole shebang in the Misery river!

Scottiking-it will ABSOLUTELY not go in the Misery River. I know I told you before but I'll repeat--this is all new so this is the time to get all the problems solved so next winter it will be smooth sailing. Then you and everyone else will continue to enjoy. It's just frustrating for you because you are miles away and you just can't get back soon enough. However, it is an excuse to come back more often.
I'd really like to hook up another camera here toward a different direction so everyone can see the snow piles-now that is more entertainment. As for the Kruppy camera-I do like the clarity and click on the pic for the larger image.
Count the days until your next trip. B C N U soon.

Hey Scott.

I think all you would need to do is change the image size to something like 800x600. It would still be clear, but not take so long to load.
