I have to give a shout out to Northwoods Rental in Hurley. We were up there about a week and a half ago, had some trouble with two sleds. We went in there never having been there and Brooks treated us like we had been friends for years. Answered many of our questions that would likely be considered 'stupid' to a trained mechanic. We never felt like we were being gouged as could happen when you're hours away from home and wanting to ride. We only make it up there a couple of times a year but the deal was sealed in the time that we were at Northwoods Rental that's where all my Arctic Cat business will go from now on.

I have a story about them. In 2005 I had a 2002 600 that broke a shock. I tried everybody to get it fixed but no one had the part. I was talking to the owner and they gave me a price on a trade and a firecat. We came to an agreement so I said I will have to put it on a credit card or send him a check when I get home. Well he said just send me a check in the few days. He did not know me or run my credit. I think he realized what he did a few day later he was calling me but I gave him a tracking number so he knew I sent the check. Was a great dealer for me.

Northwoods has a fairly large rental fleet. The mechanics fix more day to day basics than most local dealers.
They are great at getting the normal repairs done. They also have a quicker diagnostic time for most basic problems. They have already seen the problem.
