I am very curious about this info as well.
I've done bergland to big bay and back. 344 miles Seen everything from bare ground to epic over the hood powder on the trail going up Avron. We took 8 back west to gogebic coming down from big bay.and if the groomer has not gone through its for expert riders only. Stop at UP chucks. That would be a great run tho.
Im thinking about going from gogebic to paradise and staying over night then coming back. The next day. Would love to pull this off next week. Better have your equipment right.

We took 8 last week thru the rocks and it was horrible. Not enough snow and wet spots yet so no grooming. When we came back we went down by Republic on 5 and 18 back to Watersmeet. I would ride up to L' Anse and over to Big Bay. Marquette, Munising, Grand Marias and Paradise were great.

We were in L'Anse Monday. We came up 107 to 8 in Kenton then over to Sidnaw then up to L'Anse. Yes you can get through town. Plenty of snow. I would suggest taking trail 14 from L'Anse to Big Bay directly and forget taking trail 8. I was in Big Bay on Sunday. I took trail 5 from the 5/8 junction north to Big bay and they had plenty of snow. Could have used a groom but was definitely worth riding.

We where up there last weekend and 8 is Junk threw the rocks !! I don't even know why they show that trail 8 going West from the 15 it should be erased off the trail map (just saying)

I hope you plan on doing this in 2 days and if not the trails have better be in unbelievable shape

looking at the maps it looks to be about 500-600 miles in one day that's prolly a little too much.
