La Nina???

Let me start off by saying what a great site this is! I have not posted much and only a member for less then a year, but I have followed for 3 years now and I look at it everyday.

So my question is what effect does La Nina have on Mid West winter weather? It sort of points out in this article that it has below percipitation for our area. Just wanted to get your thoughts on La Nina not the article.

I read the article, but did not read where the predictions for the Midwest were. In any case, La Nina typically does not have much of a precip impact on the Midwest, but can cause temps to run cooler than average- especially the further to the north and west you go.
