Hope this isn't breaking the rules, but what is the latest on the reforming of a La Nina this Fall and Winter? I've read better than 50/50. Doesn't bode well for the poor souls in Texas and Oklahoma

The verdict is still out for the winter, but there are growing indications a weak La Nina could develop this winter.

It could lead to more dryness in the southern Plains.
