Lake Gogebic and bergland area

We're looking at making 1 last trip later this week. Is the lake ride able and are the trails open and ride able in the surrounding areas? Thanks

2-27-17: Weather: Going to 40 degrees. Conditions: Poor. Trail 8 west to Ironwood is impassable 4 miles west of Merriweather unless you go up on the highway where you could be ticketed. 8 east to Kenton is very thin and you will be hitting rocks. 1 south along the west shore of the Lake is impassable, http://dlvr.it/NV6VCM
