I understand that the Gogebic area groomers will be assisting the Ontonagon groomers with their trail system because their groom is down. I was also told today that a meeting is scheduled for today down at the state capital (Lansing) regarding keeping the trails opened and groomed through the first week of April. If anyone wants to get the last ride in for the season let us know.
Just a FYI. Some of the area business's in the western U.P. have shut down during this time and others have limited hours.
The Timbers Resort offers 11 housekeeping cabins with full kitchens, plenty of parking, trail and lake access right from the resort.
Load your sleds up, pack some food and your favorite beverages and come join us in the U.P. for the best snowmobiling of the year. Remember we are running a 15% off lodging special through the end of April.
