Lake Minocqua ?

All lakes are different, I am 30 miles north of Minocqua and have a lot of slush under the snow in front of my place. A few sleds came through the other day from down the lake just along the shore and they were really pushing slush. Across the lake there was a guy moving pretty fast where there is current and he must either be really lucky or know the ice pretty good because that area is where a channel comes out from another lake into ours. I would wait awhile unless you are skilled in slush riding or there are nice packed trails on the lake. Good news is the low was 4 degrees in MW last night and no above freezing temps for next 10 days.

Drive by Lake Tomahawk tonight and that was not marked either , had the usual sign "Trail Close, Unsafe Ice"
