I don’t have the full distance but Lando the the top of lake Gogebic is between 50 and 60ish miles depending on how you go. And I’m sure someone knows distance from Lake Gogebic to lake of the clouds but a quick guess about 40 to 50ish more so 100 give or take one way.

We did it last week, and if I remember correctly it was about 40 miles from Bergland to Lake of the Clouds.

It would be a few more miles, but if you can, take trail 11 back to trail 102 down to Bergland. Awesome trails!

Mark any idea of mileage going that route?

I can't help with total mileage as I've never ridden down to Land O Lakes. I can help with how many more miles it will be versus taking trail 1 back to Bergland. At the bottom of the hill coming back from Lake of the Clouds, you come to an intersection. If you take trail 1 back through Silver City and down to Bergland, it's about 21 miles total. At that intersection, if you take trail 11 south, which is a 2 lane ashphalt road in the summer, it is 16 miles to the intersection of 102 and you can go as fast as you want. It's groomed double wide and just a great trail. 102 is about 17 miles to Bergland, so 33 miles total, making it about 12 miles more than taking trail 1. I think it is more than worth the extra mileage as both trails are a couple of my favorites up there. Have fun!
