Land O' Lakes WI

Da kid passed his snowmobile safety course @ 100% and we took his first ride from West of Lando to the "Black Oak " for dinner.
Lots of snow, no wet spots, and cold. Hey Frosty's how much snow do we need to groom!? I don't get it.........you would think getting a base down would be a priority this time of the year.......there is snow......heck theres more snow now than most of all last winter!

Just sayin.........................................................

Last I heard at Frosty meeting they didn't want to stick a groomer in wet swamps so were waiting for swamps to freeze and panning where they could. Typical early season conditions just not going to be perfect for now. Sorry but just the way it is right now.

They have been out and at least panned, I rode from town to bents camp and they worked most of that at least once. Only part not done was just west of airport in the swamp areas and that seems frozen now so I would think after today's cold that should be able to handle the groomer

I'm typically up there the week or two before Xmas and it seemed like every year a groomer was going in a swamp and I personally was involved with two reroutes due to them breaking thru and seen the aftermath of many others so I do not fault them for holding back a bit. The groomer barn is in between two of the many suspect areas but they usually get past the west one earlier in the season than the east one which is just west of the airport and is important to get past as it gives access to the "east side" which is all the trails to the east of 45 and around town.
