All trails in Langlade County will re-open 27 JAN at 8 AM. Conditions around Antigo could be marginal, but once off the fields & in the woods conditions will improve. Slush or standing water could be encountered in low areas because of the recent warm-up & rain. There is logging in several areas of the county -- meaning that the trail could be plowed.

Did a small loop yesterday and was very pleasantly surprised. Good overall. Logging areas were only spots that were not, but even those areas were not completely bare. Stayed away from Antigo itself, but went north, West and even a little ways east of there. Hats off to the clubs for making the tough decision to close the week prior and maintaining what they have.
