Last ride best ride ever

My 20 year old son came home on leave from the USCG.Monday 3/21/11. He hadn't been on his sled for 2 years. When the snow storm hit Wednesday I was on an overnite trip to the U.P. for work. Coming home down 141 to Green Bay, the Pembine trails were groomed but very littlle snow, so I called my buddy Mike to find out if the Outagamie trails were open. He said no but he would find where the best snow was in Wi. He looked at all the snow maps and it looked like Price Cty. was the best place to go. Thanks, Richard and Kraft Foods for taking my trip, and letting me off work with 15 min. notice. We rode 215 miles Friday, 40 of it was on fresh 18 inch never ridden trails. the rest of the trails had a few tracks, but it was still very good. He just got on the plane to go back to work, with a few tears in my eyes I have to say the best ride ever. God Bless all are military men and women bring them all home safe.

That is a great story.
Glad it worked out with the snow and timing. Great way to enjoy time with your son. This sport is unique, it gives us smiles and tears along the way. Thank You, for sharing. Thank your son for his duty.
