I may have been born Yesterday,....
But WHAT???

The daughters boyfriend (who works at a grocery store) brought some over last night to try.
I was down in da man cave when the wife comes downstairs and says,....
"I have some new kind of potato chips,.... close your eyes and tell me what you taste"
Uhmmm,.... o.k.?
Is this going to be another weird concoction like the "Peppermint flavored Pringles"
They had me try at Christmas time??
I DID like the Cinnamon and Sugar flavored ones,.....
Well,... as I am trying to "figure out" what the heck I am crunchin' on,...
She is just cracking up,....
I'm like,.....
....Pancakes and,............Fish????
Then she shows me the bag.
Chicken and Waffles!!!
Yup,... with a picture of a fried chicken leg and 2 waffles with syrup over them.

Have any of YOU seen them ( or tried them ).
I don't know,.... maybe I will have to give them another try,....
but once I knew what I was eating,... You could definately
distinguish the 2 flavors,.... and it,.... well,.....is certainly odd,....

What's next?
Carp and strawberries???
Onions and chocolate???
Cheese and Pineapple???

CHICKEN AND WAFFLES????
How do you get a gig inventing THAT????

Oh well,
Just thought I'd share.

Hey Vin,fried chicken and waffles are served together on the west coast. That medical card in their back pocket may have something to do with it.

Well,....
I guess Lays has a contest to "Vote for your flavorite" chip flavor
with 2 others,... SRIRACHA (flaming hot pepper flavor),...
AND,....CHEESY GARLIC BREAD flavor.
Hmmmmmmm,......

So I WASN'T Loosing my mind after all.

But,... it really tasted weird.

Big Vin you are soooo funny!!!

Karen Weber-Mendham from Sunrise Lodge in Land O' Lakes WI came up with the Cheesy Garlic Bread Flavor! She is one of three finalists out of 3.8 million entrants. $50,000 is for sure for them and could be 1 million of more if she wins 1st place. The Mendham are class act people and they deserve something like this to come their way. Mike and I have the pleasure to know them and couldn't be happier for them. I've been voting everyday it's an awesome chip!

Back in the middle 70's, after spending 4 years in the Air Force, and living in Eagle River, I became a student at Nicolet Technical College in Rhinelander. One of the associate programs they offered was hospitality management, **** Mendham was head of the program. He was a great mentor and I learned a lot from him over the next 2 years, he is a great guy and I am glad to see they are doing well and still on Vieux Desert. Such a small world we live in with the internet.

My wife just told me she has a coupon for Cheesy Garlic Bread chips, who doesn't like cheesy garlic bread, I wish them good luck.
