Legend 2 place inline trailer

I just purchased a used legend 2place inline enclosed aluminum trailer. My 2011 f150 with the 5.0 V-8 pulls it just fine, the problem is, it causes way too much sag in the rear of the truck. (About 3" with both sleds in it) Has anyone else run into this pulling a inline with a 1/2 ton truck? If so how did you remedy it? Air bags, helper springs, add a leaf? The trailer with the both sleds is only about 4000#. Thanks for your assistance......

First off that size trailer with 2 sleds is probably only 3,000 #.
What kind of hitch? Most of my hitches I flip, so it rises instead of a drop. Shouldn't have a problem towing with a half ton, just make sure your close to level.

Yes have have your hitch raise not drop. I also added air bages to my 2009 1/2ton GMC pulles like a dream. I also had air ride on my 2000 tahoe also pulled great.

All been covered..... Load from front to rear. Put the heaviest sled in first for the time being and see how that works out. Also you shouldn't have a dropped hitch, if as said reverse it.

Thanks for the replys. I did load from the front with the heaviest sled going in first. I also had the drawbar turned up, or revsersed. Too much suspension sag for my liking, I think I may go the air bag route like some of you have. Thanks .....
