FYI. For any of you looking for a new trailer, I passed Beck's (where they build the legend trailers) north of St. Johns(Mi.) and they had a sign out front that said Snowmobile Trailer Clearance Sale.

What do you guys think of those Thunder trailers?

The Thunder's are the ones on clearance. They had an add on craigslist a few weeks back and the prices were ridiculously cheap.
After seeing the ad I paid attention while up in Newberry that weekend and there were a few Thunder trailers in the lot at the hotel. They looked good but its not like I was over there crawling around other poeples trailers taking a good look at it.

How much of a difference is there between the explorer and thunder?
Thunder has cheap plywood floor, spring axles, no standard spring assist on Front door, 24 OC sidewall supports, plated door bar locks, maybe a few other things. For a few bucks, get an avantec floor and spring assist front door and its not a bad trailer. Besides, why buy a $10k trailer when you only use it in the worst condidtions know to man whne a $6k trailer will do the exact same thing? Funny thing is, if you pay $10k or $6k for a new trailer they are both $5k in 2-3 yrs.

We will be picking up our RNR 714PSL next week if it is finished. We also went all black, but paid the little extra for the accent angled trim on the sides, and went with diamond plate fenders to help protect from road debris.

Its my personal opinion that you can't buy a better quality trailer for the price. I know I'll get a lot of use at it. I am looking at doing the 3M option for the floor that another user did on here. Any other suggestions?

The 3m is actually a tape layer they put so it does not chip the paint. He may be talking about the spray in bedliner type for the inside on the wood floor.

I have had a ledgeng for 5 years now. I went with the charcoal color only because the black panels will oil pan when it is parked in the sun it will go back to nornal after it cools down but just did not like that. I have had no issues with it and the two little things I did have they fixed asap. Pulls like a dream.

Picked up our new RnR 714PSL
We picked up our new 714PSL yesterday.
I am really impressed by the quality of the RnR for the low price.
This is a two place, that is two place with the Yamaha LTX's, however you could get three short tracks with no problem. I could get the two LTX's in line, however was touching front, sleds, and in the back.
