Just got done reading your journal where you mention the lack of rain. Might be a dumb question...but I'm going to ask it anyway. Is it possible to have lake effect rain? I understand how LES works, but could it fall as rain if conditions were right?

Thanks,

Absolutely.

We get lake effect rain up here almost every autumn. It is most likely when the water is still "warm' from the summer and the first few shots of cold autumn air pass over it.
