LES wind too powerfull to pick up moisture?

Hi Chris.
The intensity of the lake effect can be impacted by winds. Basically, the longer the air can remain out over the water, picking up moisture and heat, the more or heavier the lake effect will be. So strong winds carry the air across the lake faster than slow winds.
