Hey John! Question for you, which towns/cities in the western U.P. and/or Keweenaw would benefit the most from LES with winds from the north? Which towns/cities would benefit the most from Northwest winds? Thanks!

North winds benefit Gogebic and Keweenaw Counties (Ironwood to Bergland and then Calumet north). NW benefit interior areas of central and eastern Ontonagon as well as central Houghton (Mass City/Greenland/Rockland to South Range and then at times Calumet to Delaware. The northern end of Gogebic can sometime do good in a NW wind too. Note, central and eastern UP LES belts were not noted in the above.
