I'm mostly a lurker and not much of a poster on this site, but for whatever reason felt compelled to share my thoughts. I'm grateful that John created this site and for the mods who contribute their time to make this site what it is.
I live in MN and have been riding the Keweenaw area since the mid '80's. It will always be my favorite place to ride. I love the people that I've met over the years in the Kee and am thankful that the area is blessed with abundant snowfall annually. It's nice to have a place to ride every year that I can count on having snow and that has a lot of hard working folks that go out of their way to maintain the trail system and provide the hospitality.
I try my best to support the area and just got the call yesterday that my new sled has arrived at Pat's Motorsport's. It's a bit of a drive (325 miles) for me to pick up my new sled but it's worth it to me to support the area that supports my passion.
With all of the negativity in the world of late I just thought the time was right with the temps slowly starting to drop and the leaves starting to turn to post something positive. Winter will be here soon enough and I always say the snow makes everything better.
Pandemic or not and politics aside, we're all here because of our shared passion for snowmobiling. Cheers!
