Got to hand to JD as he has the sack to put out detailed snowfall graphics for Saturday /Sunday Storm. Local weather people all over the place on this 1 & no guts to comitt to snowfall & supposed to snow tomorrow.lol

Ya I am right on the line in SE MN. Lacrosse WI stations saying mostly rain :-( I hope the JD is right on this. I just brought my 2012 Pro R home last night!!! Let it snow baby!!

Not good for me, but happy for you guys! At least someone is getting it. Looking at the forecast for next week, we should really freeze up good around here before we get much snow, which is always a good thing, but rarely happens. Seems we get heavy snow too early and always fighting slush on the lake and in the swamps. I'm trying to look for a positive here!

Mark looks like you will get some & still early. I hope so....This is really good for parts of UP that have been down on snow last year & out of heavy LES belts & some of my favs....low traffic areas. When LES kicks in all will even out which is a very good thing! WI waiting for the 12th & lake ice not ready so limited for awhile but UP will be good to go where it does fall.

Vilas Dec 12th don't know about the others all different. Anybody know when Forest County opens as was some goofy stuff going on there last year?

Mark, Im in the same boat as you with the new snow I wish the white stuff would have stayed from deer opener we were at The Shop at A and H during deer season it was great to see the snow to bad it melted. Hopefully we can hook up this winter sometime

First inch is down & snowing pretty good for last hour. 8-12" total don't know but radar shows lots of snow moving south to north. I took a walk on lake ice this afternoon looks like about 3 inches thick so pleased with that too.

That would be cool! I hope so. I finally got a Land Use Agreement signed today that I had been working on for a couple of months! We would have had to close down a very important part of our trail, but thankfully we avoided that.

We are getting some, but hoping the ice freezes more first as 6"+ will just crack the ice and flood on top of the ice making a slushy mess. Let us know what your final total is tomorrow.
