Limiter straps

Not real familiar with cats. Typically if you roll the sled on it's side you can access the suspension easily. There will be one or two straps, should have a bolt holding the strap together. Remove the bolt(s) and shorten the limiter(s). You may need to put weight on the front of the skid to take pressure off the strap. Usually the best way to do this is to place a 4x4 block under the front of the skid to compress the front shock. If there is two straps make sure that they are the same length when you are done. Make some notes on where your suspension is set before you start in case you dont like the changes. Limiter strap adjustments may require a track tension adjustment as well. Don't be afraid to make suspension changes, its amazing how many people are riding not knowing the full potential of their sleds!! Arcticchat.com may have some pictures or videos.

They did not have extra holes on the 2007 sleds. Just use a stud cutting bit to put new holes in the strap. It is tight, but you can make new holes without removing the skid. Just make sure that they are the same distance on both sides.

Moved the holes 1 inch, now when i let the throttle off going into the turn it is great, but giving it gas coming out it pushes. I am changing the rear torsion springs to heavy duty. Hope that works??

We had the same trouble with my brothers 07 F8, put on as much carbide as you can stand to pay for, it helped his sled
