Lodging around Houghton Wanted

Well, I thought I'd ask before starting to call around. Looking for lodging around Houghton for 2 couples arriving Feb. 3rd and departing Feb. 6th. Prefer a cabin of some sort, not too fussy. Let me know if anybody has something available.

Was also wondering if anybody has experience on trail access from the Holiday Inn Express. Thanks

Trail access from the HIE isn't too bad. You will have to cut through the parking lot across the street which conveniently has a gas station in it, then go down a residential side street. It puts you right on Trail 3. Then if you go left you'll head toward South Range, etc. and going right heads to the bridge and toward Hancock. It's only about a 10 minute sled ride from the HIE, across the bridge, and to the Ramada in Hancock.
