I have the BV2s and love it, but I got it 2 years ago on ebay for $269. Not a bad price for that lid. I see they are back to $400 now even for the non-currents.

My wife has the the HJC modular and it does well with the electric shield. I dont think she would be as happy with a standard shield..

Well you know what you want so go find it on the net maybe not for $300 but a good deal is out there. Everyone that has bv2 likes it that I talked too.

Wait till closer till xmas.I got mine at that time last year from Ecklund motorsports, off e-bay for $329.And remember, they run on the small size.I tried on at local Doo Doo dealer before ordering and had to go xxxl.Best money I have ever paid for a helmet.

I rode with 2 different Modular helmets. I disliked both of them. Had the original and a Mod 2. I have gone to the MX style helmet with goggles. I really love this set-up. I get very warm when I ride, and I love not fogging up like my Mods always did. I feel like this style helmet is maybe 2* cooler than the Modular helmets. So, I'm glad I switched away. If you're not a sweater, you probably will be just fine.
