Any information on Boondocking in areas north of Twin Lakes this Friday/Saturday. Looking at a base in Painesdale.
Trying to bring the kid for the years last ride.

Thanks for any info!

Not looking for someones play spots. Just wanting to know in general if the snow in the woods is any good.
Thanks

Plenty of snow in the woods, 3 feet at least. As far as a rating, that would depend on the individual. It is pretty much frozen solid, so that means you can go just about anywhere. Temps this weekend are suppose to warm above freezing, so my mid-late morning it will have softened up a bit.

We were in the woods this past weekend from Twin Lakes North. In the mornings frozen pretty good and can go anywhere. Sunday it was in the 40s and mashed taters, still able to go anywhere but still have the ability to find some really deep. When we left on Monday, not too much lube left on the trails, but did hear they got some snow since. It was everything we though it would be with hero snow. Left with 1 last smile before we hang it up for the season.
