All out of biz so best are Western UPMI From Phelps WI I use these 2:

M&M
Chad
906-482-9990
Hancock,MI

Pat's Auto & Sports Center
Kip
906-883-3536
10612 Highway M38
Greenland MI 49929

You will get excellent sales & service from these 2 UPMI Yamaha dealers worth the trip + I ride that area a lot too.

Trackside Eagle River WI picked up Yamaha this year & have some basic parts & a few 2010 Yamaha sleds but I have not used them for service so can't say but they are huge super dealer for everything but Cat.

If you are looking in Northern WI, I had a great experience at JC Powersports, Yamaha dealer in Crivitz. I pulled in with my trailer and the axle snapped in half on the spot. The dealer lent me his personal trailer so I could continue my trip to Houghton and I left my broken one. On Monday I brought his trailer back and left our sleds there. He got the axle and installed it and we came back in two weeks and snowmobiled in the Crivitz area. That weekend could have been a disaster but it turned out great.

How about Minocqua Yamaha, talk to Jeff. He also runs wave rentals, the waverunner and sled rental place next to the Thirsty Whale.

Port Yamaha is my dealer. Its only 600 miles one way to get there. Bought from all the dealers in Iowa and never went back to one of them twice. Bought many sleds and parts from Port Yamaha. Eric

BTW just found out Larry is no longer at North Country Yamaha in Tomahawk.....Won't do a thing with them now that larry is gone. (Nor antigo)

Whitedust speaks the truth..I have bought two yamaha's from Pat's and a Cat from Chad...you won't find better pricing...NONE of the northwoods yamaha dealers came close to Pats on the last yamaha I bought.

What's the difference if you drive an hour and 1/2 further north of eagle river, especially if you end up paying waaaayyyyy less???

I have been to just about every dealer in north central wisconsin, I constantly price sleds, and ask questions...There are a few that will give you some tech advise and are very helpful...but a few of them have been way spoiled by having rich tourists for customers..they won't tell ya a thing without greasin their palms...There are a few dealerships, I would just as soon spit on their floor as buy even a spark plug from them.

I don't know what your experience was at Tomahawk/Antigo Yamaha, but they treated me ok. You don't know yourself until you try any of the dealers out personally.

How do we know?

You have to look at the face of the dealership. Who has the power to make deals, who will turn the wrenches, who can shake & bake with Yamaha warranty. Bottom line how will the dealership support you & your sled. If the owner is tyrant, treats employees badly, blows you off on small things or asks you to take a number for sales & service you WILL have problems. Both Bryan T & I have been to these Yamaha dealerships as buyers & we have seen how they treated us & other customers. Our buddies have been to these dealerships as well & we all talk about what we think & how we were treated. You will be treated well by both Pat's & M&M & very busy during the winter. They will take the time to help you with a smile & that means a lot when you have a problem.
