curious if anyone has been riding there this past week or so.
Thanks Pclark, we!!ve always wanted to ride over there but everytime we make a plan we get a warmup and rain so heading over this am to check it out, If I have service will report back, Happy Trails, Stay warm. We'll probably be there this week some time, will do a report. Talked to a couple up here that lives in Price that said is was awesome and I believe that because everything up here is really nice right now.

firefighter, every year usually in January we attend a buying show at the treasure island casino and would always be in awe of the terrain and the trails we would see on our way over from Rapids, we would always comment that someday we have to go riding over here and finally all the stars aligned. Pretty sure we will both be smiling plenty the next few days hitting these trails.I live across the river in Red Wing and trails are great hear so I would assume they are good as well on that side of the river.
Yes they are Thank you!Trails are in great shape
Firefighter1, maybe we will try crossing into MN next time because we will definitely be back some day. Today was another great day, just can't get over the low traffic, the flat awesome trails and scenery. Today 8 sleds and one groomer in 80 miles of super sweet trails, got a little late start this am had to have a tire fixed on the truck this am before hitting the trails. Couldn't be more impressed with the local clubs and the trail system.Usually people trailer across the river. You can sometimes cross down by Pepin, Wisconsin on Lake Pepin. Across the lake is Lake City, Minnesota. With the weather this season I don’t think I would try the river/lake crossing. Glad you are enjoying the trails in this area, when the snow is good we have excellent riding and scenery.
Love that groomer to sled ratio, heading north today out of pierce, pretty much covered pierce cty but will probably ride some of the same trails later this week in reverse, they always look different coming from the other directionGlad you enjoyed it. I rode 110 miles and passed 5 sleds and three groomers. All trails were smooth and fast. Great day to ride.
Western WI is truly a gem that people just don't know about. They will have significantly better trails with less snow than other parts of the northern portion of the state. The traffic you saw is pretty normal, so not a surprise. I have no desire to ride in places anymore where there is thousands of sleds on the trails and its down to dirt.Love that groomer to sled ratio, heading north today out of pierce, pretty much covered pierce cty but will probably ride some of the same trails later this week in reverse, they always look different coming from the other direction
Looks like snow days festival this weekend so traffic might pick up on Friday! Either way trails should hold up, plenty of snow and looks to be a little warmer, sure got spoiled with these flat hard trails, gonna miss this!
