Looking for info on riding in the Wi. Dells area.

Going to be at Christmas Mountain between Xmas and New Years with family and friends. Wondering if its worth dragging the trailer along and trying to slip away for a day of riding? Does anyone know how close the trails are to Christmas Mountain resort? Also what is the trail system like in the area? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

You can go to baraboo. Trail head right next to best western. Baraboo river runners are the local club. I love riding there, lot's of hills to climb. I forget what county that is ,It might be sauk. Check travel wisconsin.com. Trail head and plenty of room for trailer behind gas station.

Lots of good trails in the Dells area, I would check for snow conditions b/4 I towed my sled as that will be your biggest problem. Good luck!!!! have a ball with or without the sled.

The trail is right there when you turn onto cth H (Burger King) You could probably ride right out from the village. Going north into Juneau Co is nice. The same going into Sauk Co.
I wouldn't bother bringing them if we don't get more snow. The trails will be shot after this weekends traffic.

Thanks for the info. Hoping a nice dump around xmas eve would help. Would hate to slip away from wife and kids day
