Anybody have any good or bad input about this sled? Looking to possibly buy one. Have had Vectors, Apex, Phazer, Venture all in past.

No Apex or Vector by a long shot! Not simular in any way. Much better floatation off trail than Apex LTX. Riding postion more like Phaser but much more solid & lots more HP. Nytro XTX really depends on what you want to do with the sled & exspect from the sled. I liked Nytro 121 FX much better for all around trail sled but that is me. Solid Yamaha 4s 139HP engine so no worries about engine & plenty of grunt & broad powerband. Good sled but what do you want to do with XTX?

We ride in a little bit of everything other than powder. Northern WI, UP, open farm fields, ect.... Just seeing what people thought of the nytro out there. We've had a few of every other Yamaha but that one. Hoping to seal a deal on a new 2010 Apex LTX & 2010 Nytro XTX soon....

Yes, ty4stroke is an awesome site!!

I ride with 2 friends that have those . I was impressed by the machines. Better for off trail I would think but they handled well on the trail too. Took jumps good and the only thing I had seen damaged was the shock res, it kind of is unprotected. I do know they have issues with the panel fasteners. They are kind of a pain in the butt from what I picked up on. The 1 guy I ride with is just plain better than me and he has no trouble on the trails in the turns.... he is better than I thought I was when I was younger. ( LOL ) I thought the sled was impressive for a " stroker ". Sounds funny to me but impressive non the less. I'm sorry 1 has an XTX and 1` has an FX , I like them both.

I love mine ('09 XTX), that motor is so much fun. Not the fastest but just so much fun to pull the flipper. Riding position is another thing I love. I'am running stock skis with a duel runner and have no darting.
Fuel tank size can be an issue depending on the other sleds in your group. I think it really depends on the type of riding you do. Week long high mileage trips I probably would want something else. 3 or 4 day trip of 200 miles a day it's a lot of fun.
