Looking for riding buddies 1/27 & 28

I'll be coming up solo and riding these two days. Figured I'd go south from Hancock one day and north the other. Probably sticking to the trail most of the time as I'll be on a 4 stroke Viper. Usually ride during the daylight and while I enjoy stopping to chit chat with some friends at various places I don't waste a bunch of time sitting around. If someone is up and wants to team up for a day or part of one let me know.

Thanks moviper, I may be little north of you to come down your way and still do a 200 mile day, but when we get closer and you have some plans about where you're headed when, lets touch base. When are you guys going up and how long will you be there?

We will be riding 24-28. Shoot me a pm and we can exchange phone # if you want meet up with us. We will ride all directions from Mass just not sure what days yet.

I am heading up next week like to do all trail riding and ride a Viper also. I do not have any plans on where I am staying. Let me know if your interesred in riding the 200 miles a day is not a problem.

Thanks for the replies here and the PM's I got from a couple other guys too. Looks like there will be quite a few people up mid week next week. Maybe we should think about meeting in the morning someplace one day and see who can make it. Either Wednesday the 27th, or Thursday the 28th work for me. We could meet by the bridge over at M&M or the Ramada lot around 9:00 or whenever. Who would be interested in something like that?

Wow, can't believe everyone that will be up later this week. I got several PM's and obviously some comments here. Ends up one group of people I've previously ridden with, and another JD'er I've talked about riding with before will be both be up so I'm meeting up with them. If some of you other guys are still looking for riding partners keep posting and I bet you'll find people to meet up with. Thanks again for all the invites, it would have been great to meet more of you but 2 days just isn't a lot of time.

i was thinking of heading up Wednesday the 27th to my Mom's house in Crystal Falls. I may be interested to ride with you guys. I dont mind trailering my sled to meet up with anyone.

I met a few guys from Missouri off that post and stayed in Mass City arrived Monday afternoon left Friday and 1000 miles later I am tired and beat but had a great time.

Rob, it was nice to meet up and ride with you. We all had a blast! We will have to do it again sometime.

Glad you guys were able to meet up off this thread. I rode with a great group of guys that were probably staying right next to moviper's group at one of Kip's places on day one. Problem was I started getting sick about half way though the day so by mid afternoon I split off from them. Day two I wanted to take it easy and the guys I was planning to meet up with had sled problems so I ended up going solo and just did a leisurely 150 miles between Hancock to Krupps back up to Eagle Harbor and around up there before heading back to Hancock. All in all a good trip. Problems started happening at home though so I came back to no heat in the house and now a new furnace is running in the basement and my son's car sitting at the shop with a new transmission going in in Monday.... Pretty pricey items to come home to, maybe I should have just stayed up there! I did enjoy renting the Viper so first trip of the rental experiment went well except I need to figure out a better way to deal with getting the sled and truck in the same place if I don't stay at the Ramada.
