Lost Zone A bait sites - looking for some help

I have been baiting since July on 3 sites which have now been lost due to a change in ownership of the land. This is bad timing as I was there baiting on saturday with nothing said. I have waited 7 years to pull this bear tag and am now without a bait site. I am looking for a little help in Zone A Wisconsin. Either a guide that has already active baits that you can recommend or I know some people bait and do not have hunters.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am not much help here, but baiting in the fall for bear is no where near as effective as baiting in the spring. While baiting can bring animals around, it isn't the end of the world.

Get in areas that have bears and some natural food such as blue berries, choke cherries, etc and have a go... perhaps using some scent to catch one going or coming.

State land is under utilized for this too.

I guess what I am saying is that you don't absolutely have to bait to have a pretty good chance at taking your bear. Unlike deer, bears roam huge areas and will stick around some natural food sources when they find it.

Try the Wisconsin Outdoor News its a news paper that comes out every other week. I always see bear guides advertising in the classified section. Good luck.
