I hope the forecast holds, especially the 2nd low in the 5-10 day! The only issue is the ice has gotten bad with the warm up we have had and this sure won't help any. Can't complain though!!

Unfortunately, our trails don't open this year until 12/15 due to an extended deer hunt! Never fails we get good snow when we can't open on the 1st. So frustrating! If we get the snow forecasted, I will try to run through the swamps with my sled and pack it down so they freeze better.

I have to drive down to IL for the holiday weekend, but you best believe I will be ripping the ditches along hwy 65 if it pans out.

Yeah looks like between the two storms a big area could be riding by the 1st. I’m hoping to get to the UP in the first week or so of December, spent all my time last season on the eastern half in Munising, Grand Marais and Paradise. So a few of us will do an early shakedown run to Copper Harbor and spend a day riding the peninsula. Just a quick 3 day trip.

Still looking good! The best part is the snowfall is going to be widespread which helps with traffic levels. Just wish our trails could open before the 15th!!

Will be in Greenland 12th - 16th so the timing here is perfect. HeHaw, shake the sleds down so they are ready for Christmas and test ride for next year's new!

Trails in many areas of wi won't be able to open due to standing corn fields. On the bright side my kids have informed me that I better have plenty of fuel on hand for their sleds over Thanksgiving weekend! I heard this at least ten times last night, and they called me on way to school to remind me again.

That’s awesome WorkHardPlayHrd! I love when my son gets just as excited about riding as I do. My wife and daughter not so much, they both don’t like winter and my daughter gone in College now.
While I'm looking forward to it my daughter is driving back from UW-Madison tonight so I hope it can just wait to start until about 9:00!

Thanks, she did. It was pretty smooth sailing until about Duluth.
You shouldn't have built such a big deck, lol. I'm in the same predicament, too big of a deck!

John did a forecast graphic only for today and it looks awesome! Lots of snow over a 4 state area, so should be a great start to the year! Now, if only our trails weren't closed until the 15th for an extended deer hunt. Very frustrating!!
