Many people ditched the beach Monday to find refuge from the windy weather in a popular Mason County lighthouse.
Saturday, August 21, lighthouse keepers are making the mike easier with bus trips to Big Sable Point Lighthouse in Ludington.
Many people never make it to the popular attraction because of the nearly two mile walk up. To make things easier, a bus will be available Saturday at the Visitor's Center in Ludington State Park to escort people up to the lighthouse.
The bus costs two dollars and makes trips from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
