Ravens nest and the Infield bar are a couple options as well as Generations restaurant all located downtown. There is also a café located next to the grocery store on the west side of town....

want to loop from Crystal Falls 18N to Amasa and 111W to 15S back to Iron River......anyone know conditions of 18 CF to Amasa?

correction....i think its trail 111N from CFalls to Amasa, then continues to 111/15 junction..............18 goes E to Republic...

You have to ride up the alley on the north side of the maindrag to get to these places, but the one by the grocery store across from the gas station is pretty easy...

We rode up alley or road came in the back of town but we had no idea idea what was there since on back side of town nothing had signs. We were not comfortable road riding so left. Another time we found the gas station but didn't see a cafe but maybe a Subway Sign across hwy? Does that sound right? How do we find these places on a sled?

Go up the alley right by the groomer barn, cross 2 or 3 side streets on your way up alley and you will be at back door of Ravens. (Not sure if they have sign on back). another half a block up you are at back door of generations. I believe there used to be a small sign by groomer barn pointing up the alley for Ravens nest.

finding places in Crystal falls is a pain in the shorts. I gave up a long time ago. Florence and Iron River have places you can stop that aren't so hard to get to. Besides, if the local businesses were so in need of our business they would put up some easy to read signs like some other towns we pass through in the U.P. Never understood why Crystal Falls was setup like this (or lack of) for snowmobilers

Make your way to Alpha, MI. Eat at the old school. There is a sign on trail, about 1-2 miles of plowed road, but every time I have done it the road was about as good as trail, if it has been cold. We used to eat at the rusty sawblade also, and had to find new lunch spot.

We were making do with the Horseshoe after Blade closed now both gone. Tall Pines said maybe on the fresh subs but not comfy buying stuff from their display. Which trail is Alpha on? Don't mind the plowed road if signed like Wooden Nickle?

Ok found Alpha on paper & software map.....looks like simular set up to Amasa taking roads in. Old map shows Viilage Inn for burgers is this the Old School? Same place or 2 differnt places? Is this signed don't want to blow by it? What do we look for?

go into town, there is a circle in center of town, restaraunt is in old school cafateria. start around circle counter clockwise then go around behind school to park. You cant miss it. Village inn is on oposite side of same circle. Lots of neat school memerbilia and good food.

Ok thanks... sounds like best bet for Amasa is north not south or east. I wish the Saw all the good luck in the world Amasa needs something for lunch & it was a drag without the Saw.
