My wife and I took the "ice bridge" to Mackinac Island last Saturday and spent the nght on the island at the Pontiac Lodge, returning to St. Ignace on Sunday morning. We rode the trails North of St. Ignace on Saturday morning and had a blast. It was cold and the trails were in mint condition. The ice bridge was in great shape - no cracks and very good snow cover with no slushy spots. Riding around the island was fantastic as well. This was defintely the year to do this trip - we've wanted to for years!
