After reading the thread about the older man passing away while snowmobiling it made me think about this and I didn't want to change the intention of that thread.....
I ran into a man last year that was riding with a group of about 12-14. He looked old, but not that old. After talking to him about his new 2010 ski doo 800 renegade X package sled he informend me that this would probably be his last new sled. Long story short after about an hour conversation with him he informed me he was 96 years old, riding with his two sons, one grandson, three great grandsons, 4 great-great grandsons and a couple of friends. He had been sledding, well as he said "forever". That will probably be the best snowmobile story I ever will have. I will always remember that story and hopefully knock on wood be in the same position some day. Oh and by the way, me and my buddy watched them ride off through some pretty good mogals that day and needless to say, there weren't that many in the group that were going to keep up with grandpa that day....
