Maintenance Light On 2003 Sea Doo DI

I have an 03 Doo with the 951cc DI engine. When I take it out for the first ride for 15-20 minutes, switch drivers and start it back up, the maintenance light comes on. if it sits for a half hour and cools down, it is fine again for a good rip but the second time, again the light comes on. Anyone have this issue with an 01-03 sea doos? Thanks, Tom

Go to www.Seadooforums.com. They have great advice and if you search around you will find the answer. If you don't search first they may get a bit unhappy with you. Don't take it personal they did the same thing to me. Sounds to me like stator (?) issue, when it gets hot it expands and doesn't work right. Not sure though I'm more versed in the 787.
