The Manitowish Groomer was back in service last night and they went out to groom everything. This may interest you all but we only have some 26 miles of trails in MW Club area. Trails should see great improvement as the weather is getting colder by the hour, it was 34 degrees at midnight for the high today going down all day to a low of 8 above tonight. One forecast has no above freezing days in the long term and perhaps some measurable snow on Tuesday. We took a little bit of a hit on Thursday but the groomers still have snow to pull off the sides of the trails to fill in. We had some light freezing rain last night but still plenty of snow and it is really busy up here as the season is in full on mode. I will be out next week and let you know what I see for live trail conditions. Have a safe New Years everyone!

We have been out every day since Tuesday and for early season riding trails are great. 2 rides north from Presque Isle up trail 1 to trail 2 in Marenisco. Not a lot of traffic. Yesterday took trail 6W out of PI and hit the reroute for Manitowish Waters. Trail 14 northwest towards Mercer was beautiful. Hit Shillelagh, 30 Point, and Retreat on the way back home. Lots of traffic but even late yesterday the trails were in pretty nice shape. Going to try to ride MW trails today for a short run. Hope the grooming straightened out what was brutal on Tuesday.
