Finally got a chance to get out for a quick ride on my new used 2017 Ski Doo REV-XS 900 ACE yesterday. Left MW on trail 2 towards BJ, nice and smooth, BJ to PI on TR 15 past Goochs, nice stop. Up to TR 6 and west on into Presque Isle, all good trails. TR 6 down to Winchester, through MW and back home. a little snirty near some roads and in town but very rideable although we could use a fresh 4-6". Hats off to the clubs that groom these trails, temp was nice at 27, a little freezing rain around Winchester. Enjoy the season!

We pretty well covered all of Vilas county and we saw the same thing All over. 6 and 8 between Lando and Boulder were nice. Winchester down to Minocqua real good too. Grade from Minocqua to Lake Tom was a no go, but everything north of the grade to St Germain was good. Back to Conover was good. Even the worst spots were better than what we saw in the UP. Rode up 11 from Winchester and trails got rough at the state line til we hit 2. From 2 up to Gogebic (100) was thin and crappy. Can’t believe how little snow is there. 8 east of Bergland became gravel about half way to Bruce. But past Bruce to Bond falls was fine once we got off the rr and hit forest road. This weekend will be tough on trails. No new snow and lots of traffic is making the snow sugary and it won’t hold a groom. But it’s hard fir them to get very rough with so little snow.
