”We did get some snows on Thursday. It started out as rain, but changed to snow around midday and then came down as “snow bombs” for several hours. I call them snow bombs, as the flakes were 3-4″ in radius.”
3-4” in radius? Seriously?

I’ve seen snowflakes the size of my hand landing on my windshield while parked on the ramp on the “aircraft carrier USS Sedona”, a.k.a. (click
) Sedona, AZ airport (SEZ).

I thought that was purty darn awesome, but that would have been more like ~4-6” in circumference. Now 3-4” in radius (6-8” in circumference) — that’s a small dinner plate — kinda boggles the mind! I wish I’d have seen that.

Circumference? Ooopsie, I shoulda said “diameter”. Some wizard “mathemagician”, me, eh?
