Marquette dogsled race cancelled this weekend

We have non refundable reservations in Marquette this weekend, so I guess we‘ll spend a few days exploring the Marquette area by truck instead. Cancellation of the race is a pretty good indication that trail conditions are expected to be less than ideal. We will bring the sleds along just in case, but I am not optimistic they will get any use. What a complete disappointment.
