Marquette General Hospital

Marquette General Hospital just built a new hospital in 2019 (maybe 2018). I believe they have not sold the old one yet. The deal they had in the works fell though in Aug 2019. This old hospital could potentially be brought back on line if needed.

Does anybody know the status of the old Marquette hospital? I do know if I was retired in New York city I would get the heck out of that city. Just about everyone is going to get sick there if you stay.

In and around the MKE metropolitan area, Aurora Healthcare has built several enormous empty hospitals. Pro Healthcare is also in need of turning non-profits into buildings as well.

One of the rumors about why they built the new hospital so quickly was supposedly the old one had rampant MRSA although this was never confirmed anywhere that I was aware of. I know I had 2 major surgeries at the old one since 2015 and survived both ;)
