Team Balls Deep held its annual UP trip in Mass City at The Bluff Bunkhouse February 7th-10th. A great time was had by all, even Mikey who had the flu but kept riding with us!
Here are some pictures from the trip, in order of days...
Enjoy!
Day One, February 7th. Rode to Big Bay had lunch and rode back on perfect trails both ways, very little traffic!
Day 2, February 8th. Rode to BFH via 3 to South Freda to North Freda. Played off trail on South Freda a bit. No traffic. I climbed the BFH 2 times with no problems. We stopped and helped a girl that went off the trail, the sled was a mess and she was scared but ok. We boondocked of trail around Twin Lakes until dark then head back to Mass City.
Day 3, February 9th. We played off trail along trail 13 all day. We had a bon-fire and weiner roast on the river. Found some awesome play areas also. Started to snow really hard in the afternoon and by dark was blizard like conditions.
February 10th. Heading home. It was blizard like conditions. The visibiliy was 0 at times. It was like that until Hurley and then the sun cam out and the rest of the drive home was clear sailing!
We will definately be up there again next year. Thanks again Matt for the great accomadations and hospitality! See you next year!
